I had a great stay! Loved the Tap Room's fantastic food and cozy ambiance. The cookies in the lobby were a delightful surprise. The only downside was the lack of blackout curtains, waking up too early.

Had a great time with friends! We loved the location near McCarter Theatre Center, attended an awesome performance, and explored nearby shops. The room was comfortable, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Perfect for walking around and enjoying the local scene.
The breakfast at the restaurant was pretty basic and could use some creativity.

Location is perfect for exploring the area. My room had a musty smell and was lacking decent Wi-Fi. Staff were helpful with recommendations. The on-site Taproom had great food. Bring your own snacks as no fridge was available.

Just a commendable fit for a break on a long journey in Princeton with definitely value for money. The location right near campus was super convenient for our college visit. Avoid rooms next to the adjoining doors for a quieter stay.

The room was spacious with comfy beds, and I loved the relaxing pool area after a long day. They offer a cozy lounge and a lovely outdoor patio for unwinding too. The pillows could’ve been a bit fluffier, but overall, it was a delightful stay! 😊

Great location, comfortable rooms
Had the King room for 4 nights. The bed was super comfy with nice linens. It had air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom with free toiletries. Loved the fitness center and the historic vibe of the place. The staff were warm and helpful, making my stay all the better!

Stayed here for a wedding, and while the location is ideal, the room left a lot to be desired. It had stains on the carpet and the AC unit sounded like a freight train. The iconic bar was a great spot to unwind with friends, though. Overall, it’s hard to overlook the room conditions given the price.

Charming Stay with Exceptional Service!
I stayed here for four nights and was delighted by the warm hospitality. The staff genuinely cared for our needs, even helping with local deliveries. The on-site dining offered delicious meals, but be prepared for dated decor in the room. Consider asking for extra lighting options!

However, I expected more attention to detail in the room.

missingWrote a review on 04 Mayhistoric decorfriendly servicepoor lightingdated furnishingsnoise issues
The Nassau Inn has a lot of charm, especially with its historic decor and proximity to Princeton University. The staff at the front desk were friendly, and the service was responsive when I requested early room service. My room felt spacious, and the bed offered a good night's sleep. However, the lighting in the room was subpar. I had to turn on multiple lamps to have enough light, which felt inconvenient. The decor definitely showed its age, reminiscent of the mid-90s, and I noticed old furnishings and a lack of modern amenities like USB ports. The noise from the building renovations early in the morning didn’t help either, and I felt some discomfort from thin walls between rooms. Despite its positives, the inn really needs a facelift to match the prices they charge.

missingWrote a review on 02 Mayhistoric ambianceprime locationeasy accessdated decor
The historic ambiance stands out, recalling moments where notable figures like George Washington once roamed. The proximity to Princeton University makes it a breeze for exploring the campus and surrounding eateries.
The decor screams mid-90s nostalgia, and the lack of a central switch for lights means a nightly lap to turn off multiple lamps, which is a hassle. The outdated bathrooms lack modern amenities, and the absence of in-room refrigerators or sufficient power outlets by the bed felt quite inconvenient. Noise from neighboring rooms seeped through the internal adjoining door, making restful sleep more challenging, especially with renovation disturbances early in the morning. Given the history and prime location, it feels like a makeover is long overdue.
